Practice Owner/Clinical Therapist

I started my career by earning an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice before diving into frontline work at Oakland County Children’s Village. My time there, navigating the complexities of both secured and non-secured programs, provided me with a raw, invaluable perspective on the systemic challenges facing at-risk youth. These early experiences solidified my commitment to advocacy and set the stage for a career dedicated to helping individuals navigate their most difficult moments with dignity and resilience.

The COVID-19 pandemic served as a pivotal turning point in my professional journey, highlighting a profound need for holistic, clinical support. This led me to case management at Easterseals while simultaneously pursuing my Master of Social Work. Now practicing as a licensed therapist, I dedicate my career to helping individuals navigate the complexities of intense traumas. My mission is to empower clients to master distress tolerance, develop healthier coping skills, and cultivate more fulfilling personal and professional relationships, providing them with the tools necessary to build resilience and find balance in an often-overwhelming world.

I have a strong calling to support first responders and military personnel. I joined Star Behavioral Health Providers to receive specialized training to help bridge the gap between civilian practice and military culture competency. Throughout my career I have learned that it is important for people to feel comfortable and to bring their honest selves to therapy without being judged, especially in first responder and other high stress careers. Those who come to sessions say that they feel they are “talking to a friend” and not just someone asking “how does that make you feel?”

I believe that by embracing your lived experiences—both the triumphs and the hardships—you can learn to be the CATALYST for new beginnings in your own life. This journey is more than just moving forward; it is intentionally choosing to break old patterns, creating resilience, and stepping into a future defined by your own growth.
